The Story

When the three Leroy brothers and their families arrived in Saint-Paul de Vence in 2004, they didn't come with a master plan. A guestroom and a deep love for the ridge.

Over the next twenty years, one by one, neighbours became friends and eventually decided to move on, entrusting their homes to the brothers.

The result is something genuinely difficult to categorise.

22 suites. Two restaurants. Three pools. 20,000m² of gardens. Countless sculptures. Saint-Paul de Vence.

The Feeling

Toile Blanche sits on the edge of Saint-Paul de Vence, the village that gave the world Fondation Maeght, that sheltered Picasso, Chagall and Calder, and it takes that responsibility seriously. Without ever making you feel it.

The pool is warm. The rosé is cold. The art makes you pause, and then you go back to the pool.

This is the point.

Suite Pénard

French windows, a private patio, and morning light that arrives exactly on time.

Suite Pétanque

Named for the game played in the shade nearby. Forty square metres that feel considerably larger.

Suite de la Bronzette

Art

In 2026, Toile Blanche was declared a work by the Leroy Brothers. It continues to operate normally.

The works here are chosen, not accumulated. Each piece was selected in conversation with the people who made them. Some were created specifically for the property. The collection spans painting, sculpture, photography and installation, and it changes. New works arrive each season.

Staying here more than once means a different conversation with the same rooms.
